youth sports?

Just curious, does anyone know in your area is there a certain time that a youth game should end on a school night? In this case I am asking about a 9yr old on a little league team. Just seems kind of late to us the game ended at 9:30pm field is 30 minutes away from our home, so most of the kids want get to bed til 10-10:30pm.
our game was schedeled to start at 7:30pm but was late getting started because of the game in front of it. So it began at 7:50
WOW is that crazy! A game on a school night should not be allowed to play that late. Ask for a set of the leagues rules. Both my kids play baseball and during the week the games start at 6:00 and end around 8:00 pm. It’s so hard during the week to make sure they have ate dinner, done their homework and after the game get bathed and off to bed. Their normal bedtime is 8:30 but of course on game nights that’s impossible so they are usually asleep around 9:00-9:30. I would be fit to be tied if my kids games where any later than what they are. Our rules in our area is that an inning cannot start after 8 pm. They can finish out the inning but once done it is done. We also have a rule that you cannot play after dark as it is dangerous.

honestly if your not happy talk to them about playing the younger kids first. If nothing can be done pull him out and put him in another sport. Kids games are held in the day here so it is not a problem

omg, that is way too late for 9 year olds! the latest time my 8 year old ever plays is 6pm, so they leave around 730. and the games are always on the weekends.
