Or is there a website that explains it betting and stuff like is the + the favorate or the – the favorate and what is the easy website to gamble on. How do you bet on a team to win the series not just one game

-450 means betting $4.50 will win $1.00. For example, if you gave the casino $450.00 and they gave you a ticket, when you turn in the ticket you will receive $550.00. By the same token, +450 means betting $100.00 will win $450.00 (i.e. buy a ticket for $100.00 and receive $550.00 back when you return it). Bets like "Dodgers to win World Series" are available in Vegas throughout the season but, in my opinion, they are sucker bets because the actual winning ticket usually isn’t more than 10 to 1 (i.e. buy a ticket for 1 and get 11 back). By the way, 10 for 1 means buy a ticket for 1 and get 10 back.

   In your example, you will win $22.22 if you bet $100 on a team/person who is -450.

   The person/team with the minus sign next to their price is the favorite and the one with the plus sign is the underdog. In the case above, you have to bet $450 on the person/team who is -450 to win $100. Likewise, you win $300 for betting $100 on the person/team who is +300. In this scenario, person B is REALLY expected to lose.

   You can bet on a team to win a single game, or you can go onto the "futures" section of any sportsbook such as bodog.com or bookmaker.com. In this "futures" section you can bet on a team to win a series or even to win the world series. If you bet $100 on the Golden State Warriors to beat the Mavs in their NBA Playoff series you would have got them at +1500, a huge underdog, but they won and you would have cashed in for $1,500!!
