How do sports fans choose a team to follow for the rest of their lives?

So many people are die hard fans for whatever sports team of whatever sport they like. Some of the real nutters are huge fans of the worst teams out there. Why does a person choose a team, especially if they cheer for a team that always loses.

They live within or close to the city that team is stationed in. Some follow a team because they grew up with them / their parents are die hard fans. Others follow them because they jumped on a band wagon when they were once a good team and they felt they should stick with them. Others feel emotionally attached to one team. Many people have different reasons. I was one of the band wagon because I did not like my local teams. My team is horrible now, but I’m not going to be fake and switch to a different team. Sports teams need loyal fans.

List 3 safe sports and 3 dangerous sports ( or more if you want too ! )

Obviously all sports carry a risk, but some are more dangerous then others. For example, rugby is a lot more dangerous then ballroom dancing.

There are plenty of sports where men compete against other men and women compete against other women, but what sports have men and women competing against each other?

Most equestrian events have men and women competing against each other. Women can ride horses just as well as men.

What are all the different sports you can do in highschool for each season?

For example, cross country and golf are fall season sports, soccer and basketball are winter, track is spring. Idk about summer

Track and baseball/softball are probably the only spring sports. There are no summer sports, unless you want to count football

Currently, I am a criminal justice major. I was thinking that I want to change my major so that I will have a career that has something to do with professional sports. I am a girl so I feel that it would be hard for me to have a job in the professional sports world, however, I am willing to try since sports is something that I am very passionate about. Any suggestions about what majors/ career paths I should look into to? Thanks!

Kinesiology if you want to go into sports medicine. Or, if you’re interested in covering sports on TV, go into journamism. These are both very competitive fields so networking is key.

Ok, so my parents want me to play a fall sport as a freshman, they are trying to make me play football but im bored of it because i’ve played youth football for 4 years. They are threatening to put me in cross country if i don’t do football, What other highschool sports can i do besides football?

You’re right, football is boring. And no fun in the hot sun with 20 lbs of pads on. Do cross country! Now that is fun. Co-ed too! Hehe! Always fun to train with that cute girl!

Ok im gonna be a freshman after summer vacation and i was planning on doing two sports, Cross country in the Fall and Wrestling in the winter. I’ve never really played sports before this so i have no idea at all how this all works. How exactly do the seasons work? Do you play a sport in one season and stop that sport after that season is over and move on to the next sport in the next season? IDK HELP D:

see im from Baton Rouge & i go to Woodlawn High school. I play football but i tried wrestling & track. So with my school we work football everyday. During da season we have practice as normal but during off season we lift weights during 5th hour. then we do spring training for a week & take about 2 weeks off. When summer starts we do more summer work outs which is alot of running & lifting. yeah alot huh but dats jus football. now with wrestling our school wasnt known for wrestling so we jus did wrestlin only for da time between January to March & then track started so i had to do both at the same time. wrestling ended & it was time to do track meets. It was Over at da end of April for us & we ended until this week where we have to run & lift to get ready for track. so yeah it sound like a lot but its really not. im 6′2”. 235 lbs & not skinny so yeah. if u really like it u wont mind it

I live inn wolverhampton but as i want to join the army, i’ve heard they like it if you are part of a team sport where you can stay fit and be a team member, and i was just wondering what sport places are there (in Willenhall/Wolverhampton/Bilston – England) where i can do sports such as:
-Hockey
-Basketball
-Tennis
-Football
-Table tennis
-Trampolining
(Not places where you have to be a specialist as i am only a beginner with these sorts of sports)
Also places that aren’t that expensive.

Definately Basketball. I’ve met so many friends during my 3 years playing basketball and it’s not expensive you just buy shoes and a ball and thats’s about it Soccer is another good sport to join if it’s available and swim team. Swim team is agreat for your body i joined a couple of years ago and it really wears you out but you get muscle like that.

The dress is turquoise top with sequins (bodice) and the bottom is navy blue. I need a sports jacket and pants but not a suit. What is a good color combination?

You can never go wrong wearing black!
It’s now spring, you can even wear white. It is the new black again. Goes well with turquoise & navy.
